Benalmadena is a picturesque coastal town in Andalucia, southern Spain. It enjoys a Mediterranean climate, with hot, dry summers, and is just 8km from Malaga International Airport. It is a popular location for Teen Spanish courses.

Still retaining much of its original charm and character, the town is small enough to provide a safe environment for younger students yet large enough to offer a range of restaurants, shops, a water park, outdoor cinema, incredible beaches and a sailing school at the large modern marina.

We offer Easter and Summer teen courses combining language classes with a full supervised programme of leisure and cultural activities.

These Teen Spanish courses are specifically designed for teenagers aged 13-17 years. They are run during the Easter and Summer school holidays and combine language tuition with a varied programme of supervised leisure activities and cultural excursions. They provide an excellent opportunity for young students to be immersed in the language, experience Spanish culture, make new friends and gain confidence in speaking Spanish.

Fees include a supervised social and cultural programme including the following per week: three afternoons of sports/social activities (e.g. volleyball, basketball, swimming, badminton, table tennis, dance lessons); one half day visit to place of local interest (e.g. Malaga, Marbella, Nerja); one full day excursion on Saturdays (e.g. Granada, Seville, Cordoba, Ronda); supervised evening activities (e.g. bowling, film nights)

Supplementary group sailing lessons are available during summer months and cost £290 for 2 weeks (3 hours twice a week = 12 hours in total). All equipment is provided and no previous sailing experience is required.

Teen Easter Spanish Course start dates:

22 or 29 March; 5 April 2027. The last day of classes will be Friday 16 April. Please note that on Friday 26 March (Good Friday) the school is closed and an activity or excursion will be offered instead.

Teen Summer Spanish Course start dates: Any Monday from 7 June to 9 August 2027. The last day of classes will be Friday 20 August 2027.

Easter Course prices: £1385 (2 weeks); £1895 (3 weeks); £2525 (4 weeks)

Summer Course prices: £1565 (2 weeks); £2240 (3 weeks); £2885 (4 weeks)

From 5 July to 6 August (last day of sailing is 6 Aug) we offer a sailing course at the Club Nautico in Benalmadena as a supplementary option. Two afternoons per week for 3 hours each afternoon. No previous sailing experience is required. Two weeks costs £290 including all sailing equipment, wetsuits and buoyancy aids.

What is included:

Language placement test, course materials and end of course certificate
15 group Spanish lessons per week (3 per day x 5 days), each lesson 60 minutes
Use of school facilities including internet
Shared room homestay accommodation (full board = breakfast, lunch, evening meal)
Supervised leisure programme (afternoons of sports/social activities, one half day visit to place of local interest, one full day excursion on Saturdays, supervised evening activities)
Return transfers to/from Malaga airport

Not included:

International travel
Travel/health insurance

Accommodation is included in shared rooms in carefully selected homestays and provides full board (3 meals per day). During the week, breakfast and evening dinner are provided by the homestay and lunch is served at the school cafe. At the weekend, a packed lunch is provided to take on any excursions or at the homestay accommodation along with the hosts. This type of accommodation is perfect for full immersion in everyday Spanish life and also gives plenty of opportunity to practise your Spanish. Students will be sharing with another student of roughly their own age and of the same sex.

Accommodation is from Sunday to Sunday (1 week = 7 nights, 2 weeks = 14 nights). Extra nights are available on request. Please note that there is a supplement of £18 per week for special dietary requirements such as vegan, coeliac or lactose/gluten free.
