San Sebastian is a popular city in Northern Spain. Located in a stunning coastal setting in the Basque country, it has a famous beach, Playa de la Concha, and spectacular countryside and mountains within easy reach. San Sebastian is an elegant city, well known for its local cuisine, and no trip is complete without going to eat traditional pinxtos (tapas). The old city is a maze of small cobbled streets with historic houses and small individual shops and cafes.

Our Teen Spanish Courses are offered over the Easter period and throughout the main summer months, and offer a learning experience in safe, experienced hands.

Designed specifically for teenagers, this Teen Spanish course in San Sebastian offers an opportunity to combine a language course with a fun holiday at Easter or over the summer months. The materials and activities have been adapted to take into account the interests of this age group and the timetable is particularly suited to those who want to combine their studies with an interesting sporting and social life.

Spanish lessons are 45 minutes each and take place in the mornings, from 0930-1100 and 1130-1300 for both Easter and Summer courses. There is an additional afternoon session each day from 1315-1400 to work on a creative project to present to the rest of the class on Fridays. Supervised afternoon activities take place on Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays and there are optional activities on Tuesdays and Thursdays (surfing, cookery or horseriding – not included in course fees). There is also a full-day excursion at the weekend every Saturday.

Please note that courses in April, July and August include public holiday dates and there are no classes on these dates (see below). A full day activity or excursion is offered instead.

Shared room, full board homestay accommodation in carefully selected local host families

International travel
Return transfer to/from Biarritz or Bilbao airport (can be booked on request: ask us for costs)
Travel/health insurance

Accommodation is available in local homestays, all of which are inspected regularly by the school accommodation officer and which comply to the high standards expected for families welcoming teenage guests. Accommodation runs from Sunday to Saturday (1 week = 6 nights, 2 weeks = 13 nights). Extra nights are available on request.

Full board is provided (breakfast, lunch and evening meal). Please note that a supplement of £25 is charged per week for any special dietary requirements (lactose intolerant, coeliac, etc).

Single rooms may be available on request at additional cost.
