Our Teen French Easter and summer courses are specifically designed for teenagers aged 15-17 years and are offered for all levels from beginners upwards. The courses run throughout the summer months and the Easter holidays, and include group French tuition as well as surf sessions and a fully supervised social programme.  Also included is shared room accommodation in selected local homestays on a full board basis (summer) or half board (Easter).

French lessons run from Monday to Friday.  Lessons are designed to develop all four of the main language skills (speaking, reading, writing and listening), with a focus on oral communication. Teachers encourage students to interact as much as possible and actively use what they learn in class. All teachers are native speakers and university graduated teachers.  As lessons are 45 minutes each, 20 lessons = 15 hours of French tuition each week.

Surf sessions – 4 afternoon sessions per week.

Four afternoon sessions of 1.5 hours each on a local beach for beginner to more advanced levels.  Lesson times will vary according to the tides and weather conditions.  Fully-qualified instructors from our partner surf school will provide lessons adapted to the needs and levels of the participants, and a short swimming test will be conducted on the first day of the course to ensure adequate confidence and ability in the water.  Groups of 8 students maximum. All equipment is provided by the surf school (wetsuits and boards)

Arrival/departure transfers are included in the course fees from Biarritz train station or airport.

Social and cultural activities are included in the cost of the trip and cover 4 afternoon activities as well as 1 organised evening activity. There is also a half day excursion each Wednesday afternoon and a full day excursion at weekends.

Local transport is used for travelling between the school, the homestay accommodation and social/cultural activities. Please note that the cost of a local travel pass is not included but can be purchased on arrival.
